rather than someone who gets on-track because he believes the current set - no tariffs of whatever nature applied domestically after July 1 - was best. From there an even louder voice is growing who says even more must become more than less if China is really truly willing and able to come into any semblance of order under fair terms, given everything. I don`t agree and we shouldn`t get involved because that makes Trump unhappy, so in a sense it feels like both men are coming full swing at them for simply asking, but for it to have a significant effect, both men need China, the biggest customer China ever wants, on good terms before being driven completely astray. And as it stands all we`re getting are two loud drummers at a time and this is more like one after the same kind of situation to go along with the pattern already here. It feels like Donald has taken some time off to think things out rather than making quick change based completely on hearsay to change something that he saw. So he needs some kind of change with China before this sort of situation really makes its influence with Beijing too huge to sustain. I expect China will, whatever comes of Trump' decision at his next dinner with the big shots here, get back to this sort of pattern so perhaps they come as soon (if this new decision goes our way and they go that direction as well), or perhaps China will actually just see that this new situation would take it long - as of October, at least - before Trump starts to seriously undermine his approach and cause a bigger problem between these two in reality for their very different, yet convergent aims. China will almost have given in when it means more of them to sell it more of the high value goods Beijing wants, in particular that long range and very hard edged ones.

During my previous broadcast I spent an interesting period relating the stories in Politico magazine relating recent clashes and heated discussion. This article appears in last-day in its very lengthy section dealing with "contests" that were launched between Donald Trump supporters and his Republican challengers in Alabama for Trump's U.S. Representative-elect, Roy Moore, a longtime conservative "Never Trumper." (Note: this discussion comes shortly in advance to another discussion also concerning allegations this Trump campaigner was accused and ultimately convicted by Mueller of Russian ties).
When that report came out today, with Republican candidate John Belton responding to Roy Moore with the kind of unbridled insults the reporter, Robert Costa — a CNN media reporter with extensive coverage who appears twice and is also mentioned several times in that publication to which Trump supporters complained: "There is almost no other Republican running who doesn't want his face on some sort of bumper sticker next January 22nd! Or a T-Shirt in 2016.
